is the word for Youth Ministry at Rolling Plains. We believe that the youth of today are very passionate about a lot of things. Our goal in Rock Solid Student Ministries is to take that passion, focus it, and equip youth to not only live the Gospel of Jesus Christ but to share it as well. The youth will be taught in a way that will challenge them in many ways. Virtues like obedience, service, humility, respect, and love are more than just fleeting thoughts. Rock Solid Youth will begin to understand and practice the core values of Rolling Plains Church where these key virtues are applied. Come as you are; Connect with each other; Grow in God's Word and prayer; and Go in Jesus' name and serve others. Christ University is a fun and exciting opportunity for the adults and youth to share their God given gifts and talents while demonstrating and sharing the love of Jesus Christ with young people through Scripture and fellowship. We offer several classes on a periodic basis. These classes range from cooking and scrapbooking to deeper more specific Bible studies. These Wednesday night classes are small-group oriented and may last anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks. Feel free to stop in or contact us for information.
Sending Teens Out to Reach the Masses is an aspect of the youth ministry we utilize to enable our youth to learn to serve God and the community. At Rolling Plains we are extremely blessed and are very active in the Muskingum County area. Through WeServe, Servfest, and multiple other ministries within our church, the youth can stay very busy. There are even opportunities for youth to serve in Haiti or Guatemala.

Beyond
Beyond is a ministry where youth can learn to serve and grow in a deeper capacity. Service and leadership training are the focus in this ministry. Youth are urged to push themselves spiritually and personally. This group meets regularly prior to SNL.
This is a great opportunity for youth to worship in their own environment. Upon arrival, youth hang out in the game room. Then they will come together and participate in group worship, hear pertinent speaking, play a game or two, become part of a small group, and spend time in prayer and meditation. We feel as a staff that these disciplines are vital to the overall spiritual growth of youth today. SNL is a great opportunity for new folks to stop in and check us out and meet fellow youth.
