Re Opening Guidelines

We will have two worship services with the first beginning at 8:15 AM (Traditional) followed by a 10:00 AM (Contemporary).
There will be no classes or family ministries taking place on Sunday morning.
This includes, Nursery, Kids Praise, RP Youth, Kids StufFX, etc... All digital classrooms on Sundays for Children and Youth will continue.

For those not comfortable returning to public worship there is no shame. Please remain home until such time you feel able to attend in person. We will STILL be LIVE-STREAMING our 10 AM service on our Facebook page and our webpage rollingplainsumc.com

GUIDELINES:

If you have a temperature or are not feeling well please remain home.

While facemasks are encouraged we are not mandating nor requiring people to wear one.

We ask that you maintain a 6’ distance at ALL times unless otherwise permitted by those who you engage.

Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance and exit as well as various parts of the sanctuary. We encourage you to use them upon entrance and exiting of the sanctuary.
ENTRANCE TO BUILDING:
Single flow of foot traffic entering and exiting the sanctuary.

Enter through front doors and enter the sanctuary through doors near coat closet.

Doors will be propped open to avoid hand contact.

There will be no bulletins or printed materials handed out.

Please bring your own tissues if needed, as there will be none in the sanctuary.

Please try to arrive prior to the service beginning so we can get everyone seated safely and seamlessly.

A greeter will escort you to your seats as we fill the sanctuary from the front to the rear.

There will be no He-Brews Café or refreshments/coffee offered and no lingering in the lobby or hallway areas.

Please consider attending the 8:15 AM service to help keep space available at the 10 AM service. DURING CHURCH SERVICE:

There will be no Children’s Ministries (Children and Youth will remain in the sanctuary with their parents)

No handshakes, handholding, hugs, fist bumps, etc. Please cough or sneeze into your elbow.

Outside of your immediate family, please sit 6’ apart.

Make all attempts to remain in your seat and refrain from moving around the sanctuary.

Please make all attempts to not use the restroom facilities unless absolutely necessary.

There will be Offering Boxes on a stand at the entrance and exit to the Worship Center for those wishing to give an offering.

AFTER SERVICES ARE OVER:

Everyone must leave the sanctuary for Cleaning Teams to sanitize immediately following each service.

Everyone will be asked to exit directly into the parking lot through the emergency fire doors at the rear of the sanctuary.

We will be dismissing from the back of the sanctuary forward.

Please respect the request to forgo lingering and meeting in the sanctuary or lobby once service is over.

If you desire to meet with or congregate with anyone, please do so OUTSIDE where you are able to maintain a 6’ social distance.

Please remember this is not a permanent situation and may be subject to change in some ways over the course of subsequent weeks. Also know that we are doing the best we can at making sure everyone is getting ministered to. At the same time, we will be practicing safety because our love for you and your health is greater than one’s desire to be seen or heard.

We also ask that no one take anything personally and offer the utmost in patience, grace and understanding as we all remain unified in the bond of love in Christ Jesus. One of my favorite Beatitudes is “Blessed are the flexible for they will not get bent out of shape.” Thank you Lord!
We will do the best we can to maintain the integrity of our ministry and keep you, the people we love, safe.
