Welcome to the Rolling Plains Church website where we hope you will discover all that God is doing in our midst and all that God could do for you and your family. Please know that this is a place where you can come as you are. I myself wear blue jeans every Sunday. As you take a moment to browse the site and see what Rolling Plains Church has to offer, I pray you will recognize us as a people on The Journey who believe in a big God and that in Him all things are possible. Therefore, as Rolling Plains Church we want to “Dream Big and Pray Hard.” We believe it is never too late to dream of the God possibilities in our life and to connect with God in a real and tangible way. No matter where you are in your quest for significance in life, we want to invite you to discover for yourself what a personal relationship with Jesus Christ looks like. I invite you to get a taste of who we are by listening to the messages and check out the areas of our website that interests you. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to call the church office at 740-453-4192, or email us. I hope to meet you on Sunday morning. We have two services, 8:15 & 10AM. In the 8:15 Worship Service you will find a blend of more traditional hymns and contemporary songs. The 10AM Worship Service is led by our Praise Band and the music is contemporary in style.

My goal as pastor is to help you experience God’s Word in a way that speaks practically into your everyday life and to help you discover God’s destiny and abundance for you. Know that you matter to God and you matter to us!

A little bit about me…

I have been married to my wife Erin for 26 amazing years. It has not always been easy and we have had our struggles but God has been faithful to us. We have 4 amazing children. Tawna , Austin , Isabel, and Elizabeth. Being a dad is one of the most challenging and fulfilling experiences of my life. I have made more mistakes than I can count and have to apologize to my kids on numerous occasions but, I love being a dad. You will find that we have battled through infertility, adoption, miraculous births, heart braking syndromes like Aperts and many other trials. Life is a challenge! We are definitely not the perfect family and we certainly aren’t a perfect church, so again come as you are.

I am a graduate of The Ohio State University and love all things sports. I love the Buckeyes, the Chicago Cubs, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Detroit Lions. Camping, coaching my kid’s sports teams, mowing the lawn, home improvement projects, and anything outdoors are things that I enjoy. We would love to be your church home and your spiritual family.
